Project Goal.
The goal of this project was to translate Chiki Can Paint’s educational pedagogy into an engaging and easy-to-understand animated video for children and parents. The animation aims to communicate the brand’s teaching approach in a playful and accessible way, while maintaining clarity and structure for effective learning.
Key Contribution.
Delivered a complete end-to-end animated production independently, translating educational content into a visually engaging and child-friendly format.
Role.
I led the full production pipeline independently, overseeing the project from concept development to final delivery. My responsibilities included storyboarding, visual design, animation, and sound editing, ensuring a cohesive and engaging outcome aligned with the brand’s identity.
Process Section.
1. Storyboarding & Narrative Planning.
I began by translating the educational content into a structured visual narrative through detailed storyboards. This stage focused on organizing the flow of information, defining scene transitions, and establishing pacing to ensure the content would be clear, engaging, and easy for young audiences to follow. The storyboard served as a blueprint for aligning visuals with the intended learning outcomes.
2. Visual Development & Asset Creation.
Building on the storyboard, I developed a playful and child-friendly visual style that aligns with the brand’s identity. This included designing characters, backgrounds, and key visual elements, as well as establishing a cohesive color palette. Assets were carefully created and prepared in a scalable format to ensure consistency and flexibility throughout the animation process.

I constructed scenes and animated the visuals using rigging and motion design techniques. The animation focused on clarity, timing, and expressive movement to maintain audience engagement while supporting the educational message. Special attention was given to simplifying motion and transitions, ensuring that the visuals remained easy to understand for children while still dynamic and engaging.
